About Us

Vein Clinic of New England was founded in 1997 by Sandra V. Kristiansen, MD to serve the MetroWest and Greater Boston areas. It is a state-of-the-art medical facility focusing on minimal-invasive procedures for leg veins, fat reduction and cosmetic treatments, using the newest methods and technologies available.

The clinic was originally located in northern Rhode Island and was focused on varicose vein procedures. In 2003 we relocated to Westborough, Massachusetts which eventually became our main facility. Easy access from the I495 and I90 highways has kept our loyal patients coming from Rhode Island as well as New Hampshire and Central Massachusetts.

In 2004 we added Tumescent Laser LipoSculpture, VASER Lipo, facial rejuvenation treatments and laser hair removal.

Our patients enjoy the personalized and friendly interaction with Dr. Kristiansen and her staff, which is evident in the large percentage of new patients who have been recommended by their friends and family.

In 2011 we changed our name to Vein Clinic of New England to align it with the focus of our services.

All procedures are done in safely and comfortably in our procedure room under local anesthesia. Eliminating hospital-borne infections and general anesthesia adds to the safety and the patients are able to leave on their own after the treatment. The procedures require little or no recovery time allowing you to continue with your normal rutine.
