The Consultation

We offer consultations by appointment. The consultation and all treatments are done by the doctor. You will not be rushed and all your questions will be answered.

After filling out your registration forms, you will be taken to the library, where you will speak with a staff member about your expectations, what we can do for you and how the treatments are done. You may also be watching videos about the treatments. 

Next you will be seen by the doctor. For leg veins, the doctor will first talk to you about your medical history. After a careful review of your medical history and concerns, a painless Doppler-screening examination of your legs may be performed. For larger varicose veins, the doctor may do a Duplex Ultrasound testing. This is to diagnose any vein disease in the deeper vein system. This is an important step in order to determine the correct treatment method for you.

 For concerns other than leg veins, the doctor will perform a detailed examination of the area of concern.

 Based on all the findings, the doctor will discuss your personalized treatment plan and the suggested treatment method best suited for your case.  

Following the visit with the doctor you will be speaking with a staff member about prices, possible insurance coverage, payment plans and  any other question you may have.

If you have already decided to have treatments, you may proceed to the front desk and set up your first treatment appointment. For some services we may be able to perform your first treatment at the time of the consultation.

 Note: If you care for young children, we ask that you please do not bring them to your appointments.
