Foam
Sclerotherapy
Foam Sclerotherapy is a new and innovative
use of the time tested sclerotherapy
technique. It consists of the injection of a sclerosing solution (Sotradecol or Polidocanol)
in the form of a bubbling-foamy consistence,
instead of the liquid form.
The advantage of this technique is better
contact of the solution with the inner wall of
the veins, allowing longer time in the vein,
therefore obtaining better results on larger
veins.
